Responsible Tourism Statement

At Cadbury World, we are constantly looking for areas to improve upon and adhere to the Guiding Maori Principle of Kaitiakitanga, and acting as Guardians across all cultural, natural, environmental and social environments. We feel it is important to share with our visitors, initiatives that we have implemented to ensure we act sustainably and to encourage visitors to travel sustainably.

The following is an example of some of the initiatives put in place at Cadbury World

All visitors with children under the age of 2 years, must have them in a certified carrier, which we have available free of charge for you to use around the tour route.
During the tour, we will share with you aspects of our unique and distinguished heritage that goes back over 120 years.
Reusable Eco shopping bags are available for purchase within the retail shop
All speaker packs used by your guide use rechargeable batteries
All of our promotional material is printed on biodegradable paper.
