Q: How long does the tour take?
A: Approx 1 ¼ hours. This includes the Visitors Centre and guided tour of the Cadbury Factory.

Q: What will I see?
A: The colourful, educational, and informative chocolate themed environment that is the Cadbury World Visitors Centre - fun facts, including the history of Chocolate and Cadbury, audio-visual entertainment of Cadbury's history and Cadbury's relationship with Dunedin.

Q: Does the tour include a visit to the factory?
A: Yes. Visitors will learn all about the Chocolate making process and see where a number of Cadbury products are made on several levels of the Dunedin factory. DVD screens and visual displays are also positioned throughout the factory tour to enhance your enjoyment.

Q: What is the shortened tour?
A: On Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holiday weekends most of the factory production lines are not operational. Cadbury World runs a shortened tour during these times. This tour takes approximately 45 minutes and includes a guided tour of the Cadbury World Visitor Centre, chocolate fall, and retail outlet but not the production areas.

Q: Is car parking available?
A: Metered parking is available in Cumberland and Castle Streets. Parking is also available at the nearby Railway Station.

Q: What disability access is available?
A: Wheelchair access is available within Cadbury World. As the Factory Tour contains a number of flights of stairs, (over 3 levels) it is not a suitable environment for Wheelchairs or Pushchairs.

Q: What level of fitness is needed to take the tour?
A: Visitors need to have a reasonable level of fitness to cope with stairs. The Factory is also very warm when operational, so medical conditions aggravated by heat may need to be carefully considered.

Q: Can I buy Cadbury product at the centre?
A: At the conclusion of the Tour, visitors enter the Cadbury World store where you can purchase Cadbury products and unique Cadbury World branded items at favourable prices.

Q: Can I sample products?
A: There are several opportunities for visitors to sample our products while on the tour, as well as to purchase your favourites from our store.
